Double Crochet (DC)A taller stitch: yarn over, insert, pull up, [yarn over, pull through 2] twice. Creates a fabric twice the height of SC.

Turning Your WorkAt the end of each row, chain 1, flip your work, and crochet back the other way.

Counting StitchesEach SC creates one V-shape on top. Count the Vs to make sure you have the right number.
