Heart Medallion
Granny SquaresIntermediate3.5mm hook16 rounds
A classic heart worked as a 2-color tapestry-crochet medallion: all single crochet in the back loop only, one color per stitch, in a continuous spiral flat circle (round k has 6×k sc — the +6-per-round rule, increases evenly staggered). Carry the idle strand inside your stitches and change color on the last yarn-over before each new color. 16 rounds ≈ 12.8 cm (5 in) across at DK gauge (816 sc) — a sturdy love-note disc for blankets, bags, and cushions.
