4-round magic-ring flower worked on a spiral: 5 sc in a magic ring, increase to 10 sc, then (sc, ch 2, skip 1) × 5 to set up 5 ch-2 spaces — finished with 5 rounded graded-fan petals, each (dc, tr, dtr, tr, dc) fanned into a ch-2 space with ch-4 sides and lashed down by a slip stitch each side. The stitch heights roll up and back down so every petal peaks at its centre and rounds off at the shoulders, just like a real forget-me-not; about 5-6 cm at DK / light-worsted gauge — lovely appliquéd onto bags, hats, and pouches
